We planted a magnolia tree in our yard the first year after we built this house 12 years ago. I couldn't wait for it to blossom - the fragrance reminds me so much of my grandparent's home in Monroe, Louisiana. It has been blooming for the last 2 weeks, and if I can reach a blossom to pick, I bring it inside to fill the studio with it's stimulating perfume.Shipping and insurance additional
This flower sat on the windowsill for a couple days before it turned brown and inspired a large painting.
John 12:3
