Tessa has a pasture with 4 bay mares in it and I watched them for a good thirty minutes hoping to get all four of them lined up. It never happened - there was always ONE uncooperative mare - and not always the same one, either. So my conceived foursome portrait will probably have to be a "cut and paste" - something I am used to doing anyway. I WAS hoping to get a cool photo for Tessa, though. I'm sure she'll settle for a contrived painting!
