Four Arabian mares in a pasture - one seems to always be apart from the group - whether by choice or by force, it's hard to tell. But we have all been there. I plan to paint this one large - 24 X 12 at least. As small as this painting is, I painted it with a relatively wide brush and I would like to do the larger one the same way. There is something freeing about forcing yourself NOT to be able to do the details - very much like going without makeup for weeks at a time - which is something I do when we go camping. That's very "freeing", too, but then I don't have to look at ME!
Jeremiah 40:4
But today I am freeing you from the chains on your wrists. Come with me to Babylon, if you like, and I will look after you; but if you do not want to, then don't come. Look, the whole country lies before you; go wherever you please.

A little jewel to be sure.
This is a wonderful painting, great colors and I like how the background and the foreground have become the same.
