Misty and Michael Cooley of Laurel Creek Farms in Lewis County, Kentucky are fair representatives of the young people returning to an agricultural lifestyle on family farm land. Misty and Michael have 4 kids (God bless them!) and they are all now being raised on fresh milk.Sweetie is aptly named - letting Misty milk her just about anywhere! Imagine a milk spigot handy when you need it - Sweetie provides that and more. The kids are learning to help with the cow (and other farm) chores. They assist with butter making and the produce harvesting and selling. In addition to the cow, the Cooley family also raises pigs, goats and bees.
Misty's family farm used to grow tobacco, and now it grows great Americans who are working hard to reap the rewards of life on this Laurel Creek family farm.
Job 40:20
The hills bring it their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby.
