This is my favorite cow that belongs to my neighbor, Ron. He no longer has her or her calf, but I still have a million photos of them!
Have a WONDERFUL 4th of July celebration, dear family, friend and collectors. I will be spending it with my daughter's family - eating fried chicken and other assorted forbidden goodies and playing with my grandchildren.

#42 Cow Color Study 1

I am going to paint this cow a number of different ways using various techniques and colors. This one is fairly conventional. I am hoping to deviate from the norm and force myself into a new dimension.
My mother is going to have surgery next week and I will go stay with her for a bit. She suggested I bring my paints to her house - her porch has great light and I think I will take her up on it. I cannot remember the last time she saw me paint - certainly not recently. Maybe a different environment will send my right brain into new directions as well....
