There's not very many images prettier than a new foal in spring grass and wild flowers. I've had a few of those myself - over a dozen, as a matter of fact, with the last one being Miss Dandy five springs ago.  I wonder if old PJ has one more foal in her? No no no! Slap me before I breed my horse again!

Baby news: As of Wednesday afternoon, nothing to report other than 90% effaced and 2 cm dilation. If baby doesn't get here within 9 days, Merideth will be induced next Friday, the 10th.
This grandma-to-be is happy that we made it to December. I have used the excuse that December's birthstone is Turquoise to purchase several pieces of gorgeous Navajo turquoise jewelry, with intention of it being passed to first granddaughter. Of course I get to wear it for a least 16 years or so....
