What Do We Do Now?

SOLD to a Texas collector
Abstract Surrealism painting of Arabian mare and foal

9 X 15 Oil on gessoed masonite $150
Includes shipping and insurance and FREE custom oak frame

Barren, blazing landscape with a mare and foal undecided as to what direction to take. I actually saw this in a dream. I often dream of potential paintings, but I rarely paint them because they are usually so surreal. For a while I am going to follow through on those images and put them to canvas, or, as in this case, on masonite. I see a lot of reds and oranges in my dreams, too, so it looks like I will be using a lot of the cadmiums - expensive dreams!
Jeremiah 23:28
Let the prophet who has a dream tell his dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. For what has straw to do with grain?" declares the LORD.

I just love this one! I love how the verse goes so well with it. The horses are on their own, just like most of Gods prophets! Great symbolism!
