Hard to resist a cute child with a calf, isn't it? This is a fellow milk lover's daughter and heifer calf, Hazel.Kids learn a lot, growing up on a farm, with the circle of life being one of the most important. A difficult experience to share with a child is the death of a beloved pet. On a farm, death is inevitable, but then again, so is life, and the promises it implies. Hazel's life is a promising one, for sure.
