Because He's Hard to Catch

6 X 8 Oil on Masonite board $125

SOLD to a Texas Collector
My friends Bernie and Jenny raise some really nice Quarter Horses, and they are generous to let me photograph them whenever I want. These boys are part of year-before-last's colt crop. All the babies that year were colts, and I think they had mostly fillies last year. Nature seems to have a way of evening things out eventually. By the way, the title explains why one of them has on a halter....
My friend, Tessa, raises Arabians and this year her mares have had all colts and she really wants fillies. I want a colt, myself (no baby yet, by the way!), because I have no more plans to breed and I want a good riding horse - and I do believe most of the time, geldings are better than mares - fewer "issues"!
