# 14 You Go See Hugo

6X6 Oil on mounted canvas $100

This is Hugo. Hugo is a sheep, I think. His image was sent to me by another one of my friends on the Keeping a Family Cow forum.  Did you know that there are a breed of sheep that are raised for their milk? I have only learned this recently, and I, at the age of 60, thought I was close to knowing everything. Nay nay....
What amazes me most about the KFC forum is the diversity of people who are choosing to hop off the fast track and seriously think about becoming independent from the conventional commercial distributions of food resources. So many of these folks are totally new to any agricultural endeavors (much like we were 40 years ago), and I find it wonderfully en-heartening to follow their efforts (and to offer my meager advice occasionally). Realizing how little I actually know seems to make me feel younger...now if only my knees would follow thusly...
Ecclesiastes 8:17
then I saw all that God has done. No one can comprehend what goes on under the sun. Despite all their efforts to search it out, no one can discover its meaning. Even if the wise claim they know, they cannot really comprehend it.
